What Happens After You Reach Out

Annoto is the in-video collaboration and insight layer used by institutions worldwide across higher education, K-12, and corporate learning. Whatever brings you here — a demo request, a technical question, or a procurement checklist — a real person on our team reads every message and routes it to the right specialist, usually within one business day.

Booking a demo

Demos run about twenty minutes inside a live LMS environment — Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, Brightspace, or Open edX — using your own course video whenever possible. Tell us which platform your institution uses and what you want your learners to do differently, and we will tailor the session to that workflow instead of a generic tour.

Implementation and support

Existing customers get help with LMS integration, single sign-on, analytics questions, and rollout planning directly from the support team. Most integration questions are resolved in the first reply, and our documentation at docs.annoto.net covers common setup flows step by step if you prefer to self-serve.

Security, privacy, and procurement

Our security and compliance pages detail how Annoto protects institutional data, and we regularly work through university procurement and security review processes. If you need security documentation, a data processing agreement, or accessibility conformance information, mention it in your message and we will include the right materials in our first response.

Prefer email? Write to sales@annoto.net for pricing and pilots, support@annoto.net for technical help, or hello@annoto.net for partnerships and press. We answer every message — including the hard questions about rollout, adoption, and measuring engagement across your entire video library.

If you are comparing tools for in-video engagement, the product tour is a good place to start — it walks through the learner experience, instructor moderation, and the analytics dashboard in about five minutes. And if your review board needs documentation first, our compliance and accessibility pages summarize the standards Annoto is designed to meet, with detailed materials available on request.

What to have ready before the first call

You do not need a formal requirements document, but five details make the first conversation concrete: which LMS you run and who administers it, where your video is hosted, whether sign-on goes through the LMS or a separate identity provider, roughly how many courses are in scope, and the date you want learners using it. Bringing the LMS administrator and one instructor who will actually teach with the tool usually shortens the whole process by weeks, because the two questions that decide timelines, integration and pedagogy, get answered in the same meeting.

From demo to pilot

When a demo goes well, the usual next step is a scoped pilot rather than a campus-wide commitment. A typical pilot covers a handful of courses for one term, with the LTI connection configured in a test environment first and success criteria agreed before the first video goes live: participation in timeline discussion, quiz completion, or simply whether instructors choose to keep using it. Pilots are deliberately small enough that one instructional designer can shepherd them, and large enough that the results are worth presenting to a committee.

Running procurement in parallel

Institutional review does not have to wait for the pilot to finish. Most customers start the security questionnaire, data processing agreement, and accessibility review while the pilot runs, so the evidence and the paperwork arrive at the decision meeting together. Tell us early which review boards are involved and what their calendars look like; academic purchasing tends to move around term boundaries, and aligning the contract with the semester you plan to launch keeps the rollout from landing in the middle of teaching weeks.

After signature, expect a deliberate handoff: notes from your pilot travel with you into support, so the first semester at scale starts from what already worked in your courses instead of from zero. Progress updates continue through the same contact you started with.
